I Want You To Know

A brief moment of darkness
was all that I knew,
before Heaven's Gate
came into my view.

Loved ones and friends
I had missed for many years,
welcomed me with open arms
and many happy tears.

All the hurt, fear and pain
that I have ever known,
is gone from my life,
I am finally home.

I gazed upon the Lord's
sweet smiling face,
and for the first time in my life
I knew and felt His grace.

I know that you miss me,
but please dry your eyes.
I will always be watching and loving you
from my home in the sky.

A cool breeze on your face,
a touch of light rain,
I will send as a reminder
that we will be reunited again.

Life on earth is but one
brief moment in time,
I am finally home,
Eternity is mine.

 

God knew what He was doing
when He sent a gentle breeze
and brought a beautiful butterfly
to set my heart at ease.
The happiness of your friendship
and the gentleness of your words
have touched my life in a special way
and now I feel assured.
Thank you for your encouragement
and your thoughtfulness too

when He sent me a friend like you.

Thank you so much for all you do for my Nick and Me. You have truly touched my heart.
I will be away from June 5th til June 14th, for my Daughters Graduation. You and Timothy will always be in my thoughts and in my heart.

I thought of you with love today but that is nothing new
I thought about you yesterday and days before that too,
I think of you in silence I often speak your name
All I have are memories and your picture in a frame
Your memory is my keepsake with which I’ll never part
God has you in His keeping I have you in my heart.

This is Timmy's memorial rock I painted for him for Leah's Angel Rock Garden.

I hope in some small way it brings a little comfort knowing your beloved son is in the heart of so many.

 I tried to paint a black ribbon on Timmy's rock to signify he was murdered.

 He will always be in our heart and so will you Bette.
