Bette, I am so deeply sorry for your terrible loss. If possible keep us updated as to the trial results. It was so un and inhumane what they did to your son and his friend.Senseless. But I guess murder is. When are people going to realize God made us all out of one blood and we are all related. I can't stand to hear of people not liking someone just because of the color of thier skin. You and I are kin by a common bond. My beautiful sweet niece was murdered on 11/17/09, shot and killed, by a boy she had dated about 6 weeks. She was 18 and just starting college. This has devastated the family as only one who have walked in our shoes (you) could possibly know. Some days we just feel like we are dying from the pain. Now we are facing the court system also. His preliminary hearing has been post poned 3 times already. I think his attorney wanted to wait until the outrage died down. We are reset for Jan.22,2010. Lets see. He is being held on 1,000,000 bond, charged with 2nd degree murder. I wish it was 1st but criteria has to be met. Of course he says it was an accident. We don't know what to expect in court, but we will have to be strong like you. Thank you for sharing Timmy's story with us, and we will always remember him. The sky is filled with Angels
With puffy lacy wings
The remnants of God's beauty

They fall like crystal rain
Eases earthly burdens
Lifting all life's pain
Halos so astounding
That glitter gold each day
Following their loved ones
In such a perfect way
Wings in gentle breezes
That fall from up above
Kissing every parent
With everlasting love
Angels soar through heaven
With everlasting light
Looking down from heaven
Saying their "goodnights"
Kissing all who loved them
So gently on the face
This life's tender mercy
Each parent can embrace
Wings and shiny halos
Travel from on high
Surrounding all their loved ones
They never say good-bye.
